The split in the pad allows the gauze to quickly and easily fit around most IVs and tubes, eliminating the need for additional instruments. Having pre-split sponges allows you to change the I.V. quickly without causing too much discomfort to you patient. | SAFE AND STERILE - These pre-split 4 x 4 tracheostomy pads come packed in a sterile peel-down pouch which allow for convenient aseptic handling. Gauzes are packed with 2 gauze pads per pouch and 25 pouches per box.
